This Privacy Policy explains how Glucose Care ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Glucose Care mobile application.
Purpose of the app
Glucose Care helps families record glucose readings, review daily trends, send supportive messages, and coordinate care reminders. The app is for day-to-day tracking and family support only. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or emergency medical advice.
Information we collect
- Account information: sign-in provider, user identifier, and email address when you sign in with Apple or Google.
- Family profile information: family name, invite code, member names, avatars, relations, health status labels, and glucose baseline settings you choose to enter.
- Health and wellness records: glucose values, reading type, timestamps, behavior notes, tasks, reminders, and related care information entered in the app.
- Messages and user content: care messages, reminder text, AI prompt text, AI responses, and voice or speech input when you choose to use voice features.
- Technical information: authentication state, app configuration, and service logs that are needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the app.
How we use information
- To authenticate users and keep family data associated with the correct account.
- To sync family, glucose, message, and reminder data across linked devices.
- To generate AI-assisted explanations, care messages, and everyday reminders when you request them.
- To provide voice input or speech features when you enable or use them.
- To maintain security, diagnose issues, and improve reliability.
Third-party services
We use third-party service providers to run core app features. These may include Apple Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, Firebase and Google Cloud services for authentication and cloud data storage, and AI or speech service providers such as Doubao or Volcengine for text, voice, and assistant features. These providers process information only as needed to provide the services used by the app.
Health data and AI
Glucose readings and related notes may be sensitive. AI-generated text is intended to help families understand trends and prepare supportive messages. It should not be used as a diagnosis, treatment plan, or substitute for a qualified healthcare professional. In an emergency, contact local emergency services or a healthcare provider.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for third-party advertising tracking. Family data is shared only with members who join the same family space in the app and with service providers needed to operate the app.
Data retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the app and maintain linked family records. You can request deletion of your account or family data from within the app where available, or by contacting us at taiy78631@gmail.com. Some records may remain for a limited time in backups or logs as required for security, troubleshooting, or legal compliance.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including authenticated access to cloud data. No internet or cloud service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children
Glucose Care is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so we can review and remove it where required.
Your choices
- You can choose what family and health information to enter.
- You can choose whether to use AI, voice, and speech features.
- You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and make the new policy available on this page.
